For me, writing is personal. Poetry, more so. My feelings find expression in poetry.
In real life, I am rather soft-spoken and shy away from being my real self. But with my poetry, I believe in being brutally honest with my emotions. Joy, laughter, lust, hunger, pain, anger...I seek to open up on every repressed emotion, power them with words and acknowledge them as a part of my being.
Reason why, on some days, my poetry is a soft, gentle stream and on other days, it is a torrid deluge; awash with nameless emotions. And I own them all.
